Norwegian Marriage Customs

When you are getting married in Scandinavia, it’s important to pay attention to some of the livelier customs. We asked bridal organizer Mariella Gink https://www.glamour.com/story/ask-a-guy-how-do-i-get-a-guy-t to give us the lowdown on some of Sweden’s exclusive norms.

Before spouses in Viking days, the bride may consider a bath to cleanse herself and spiritually soak aside her female. Then she would bounce into frosty ocean to symbolize the change into womanhood.
